I know this is a little out of order, but I have this picture now and want to get it posted before I forget. As part of my utensil holder project, I need to find out how to do faux mercury glass. Finding inexpensive glass that is appropriate for a test was difficult at first, until I stopped by the Dollar Tree. They have the below glass dishes that would be perfect to test the various ways of creating faux mercury glass. I am posting it here really as a reminder more than anything else.
